After a long career playing violin in alternative folk and indie rock bands, Robert Pycior has gravitated to film scoring in recent years. This EP represents Pycior’s first solo effort under his own name and showcases the work he’s been performing live for the last few years – solo violin, delay and tape layerings. With each track a culmination of singular live performances and every sound originating from Pycior’s violin. The new works are instrumental explorations of urban decay and natural disorder. The EP is largely ambient, but focuses on melody more than the genre is usually known for.
